Dea

Of Italian origin, Israeli Dea is a multi-talented artist: painter, writer, filmmaker and screenwriter, fashion designer, graphic designer.

The heart of her research is revealing the inner link between modern science and ancient Kabbalah, between scientific disciplines and humanities, between past and future.

Together with a team of doctors, scientists and researchers, she has founded the magazine Madaat, a space open to any type of leading-edge scientific study and alternative medicine.

Several years ago, she started devoting herself to the QK Project, an ambitious plan to create a global network of eco-villages as experimental laboratories for a new model of society, based on quantum kabalistic models, which fosters diversity as a human and creative potential.

Dea is a peace activist, vice-president of the Confederazione Internazionale CILI-Italia, aiming at interreligious dialogue. She is also the Coordinator of the “#DonnedelDialogo”, #DialogueWomen, a department of the organization Uniti per Unire. She’s active in the Women Wage Pace movement and participates in projects to foster dialogue between Jews, Christians and Muslims, and particularly between Israelis and Palestinians. 

Dea is also a conference organizer. She holds seminars in Italy, France and Israel.

Kabbalart uses the visual arts as an intuitive and immediate access road to the esoteric secrets of Jewish mysticism hidden in the sacred text, through the letters, the analogy of their forms, and the application of esoteric alpha-numeric techniques to the Hebrew words that the letters compose and recompose.

While she often addresses issues dear to Judaism, Dea also proposes a universal reflection on the new challenges of the modern era, centered on the dialog between science and the wisdom of the ancient Teachers. In this sense, even at a technical level, Dea presents herself as a connecting bridge between different eras, between the old and the new, between the past and the future: the nostalgia for a glorious painterly past that echoes in her canvases (evoking  the paintings of the Great Masters like the Pre-Raphaelites, Caravaggio, Dali, Esher) merges with the utopia of the modern world and the world of the future.

Kabbaland occupies both a physical and virtual space, inhabited by a community of diverse people united in a single aim: to create the future by giving shape to what we hope it will be. It is the manifestation of a collective dream we must work together to realize: a new society based on the sephirotic tree. Inside the village, any concept of private property shall be prohibited: the antiquated monetary system shall be replaced by a system of free access to communal assets and resources.

Kabbaland undertakes to apply Kabbalistic theories within a human society. Kabbaland is striving to be a laboratory for testing a new model for society, offering alternative and effective responses to the serious generational crises we have been witnessing. In so doing, Kabbalah study will cease being a mere intellectual exercise focused on abstract concepts, and become the solution itself to dynamics internal to society and to any human reality.
